THE BEST THINGS TO DO IN JAISALMER
Khaba Fort 
Khaba Fort is located in the Jaisalmer district of Rajasthan, about 25 kilometres from the Sam Sand Dunes and 35 kilometres from Jaisalmer. It is believed that the Khaba Fort is the cursed village of the Paliwal Brahmins, which was abandoned 200 years ago for unidentified reasons. Its crumbling structure still contains the ruins of the houses of some 80 families that once inhabited it. Khaba Fort traces its origins to the 13th century and originally belonged to Kuldhara, a Paliwal Brahmin society. For tourists visiting Jaisalmer, it's one of the must-see forts and can capture the old heritage's beauty. The architecture is entirely built on old age rocks, giving it a distinct style and memory.

Kuldhara Village: An Archeological Site

Some places hold so much elegance, but they are rarely visited due to the locations in which they are housed. It is believed that she is an apparition of Hinglaj Mata. It is a hidden gem in Jaisalmer, a district in Rajasthan close to the Pakistani border, where the Tanot Mata temple is located. A temple like this is surrounded by something intangible that makes people feel like they are with a holy deity who has protected Tanot since ancient times.

Haveli Patwon Ki
The Patwon Ki Haveli is a famous tourist destination in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, also known as the Mansion of Brocade Merchants. As one approaches the haveli from the narrow street, one sees numerous intricately carved Spiritows and balconies, and once inside, one can appreciate its grandeur. This is a cluster of five havelis built by a rich trader in the 19th century. also referred to as the Kothari Patwa Haveli by locals. There are numerous intricate details in this architecture, such as exquisite wall paintings, balconies with panoramic views, gateways, arches, and most importantly, mirror works on the walls. Mural work is designed uniquely in one of the sections of the haveli, and each segment is distinct from the next.

Gadisar Lake
The beautiful Gadisar Lake, located in the desert state of Rajasthan just outside Jaisalmer, sits like an oasis in the middle of this arid land. Raja Rawal Jaisal built this reservoir for his people in consideration of their needs. In addition to being located close to Jaisalmer's fort, this lake offers a pleasant respite from the sun and heat of the desert. There are a tonne of scenic and picturesque views of the lake and the fort from Gadisar Lake, especially during sunrise when the sun rises from the eastern sky and bursts forth its rays on the top floors of the Jaisalmer Fort.
